One weekend left to see this great production! Terry Ross, Marilyn Twyman and Emily Roberts head a great ensemble cast in this witty remembrance of a summer in the Poconos. Alex Manch gets his heart broken and Chris Wehkamp wins the girl while Bobby Cole and Kristi Lee Smith form their own bond. Suzy Dotson and Robert Paul play the ex’s whose connections are hard to break.. Throw in a great set designed by Erin Ball and the excellent direction by Alan Hanna, and it’s a don’t miss experience.

Coming soon to GLCT:

Crowns
A musical by Regina Taylor
Directed by Theresa Ferrell. On stage April 25-May 11, 2008

A musical tribute to the fabulous church hats and the African-American women for whom they are symbolic crowns, a means to express themselves in the presence of God. The story of a Brooklyn girl, staying with her grandmother in the South following a tragedy, is a springboard for an exploration of black cultural history and identity.

Open auditions are Sunday, March 2 at 7:00 PM and Monday, March 3 at 7:00 PM at the theater, 160 W. Main St, Old Town, Lewisville. There are roles for six African-American women and one African-American male, ages ranging from the 20s to 60s. There may be callbacks on March 4.
